Acknowledgement
I am very grateful to all those who have assisted me during my UVA years.
I would like to start by thanking my research advisors, Prof. Kevin Skadron, Prof. Adwait Jog, and Prof. Keivan Esfarjani, for believing in me, being very patient with me, and encouraging me to think about research issues in a more thoughtful and in-depth manner. I have indeed learned a lot from their guidance and feedback.
I am also grateful for all PhD students in LAVA Lab, Insight Lab, and ELM Group, for having made debugging and meeting deadlines significantly less painful. I have probably learned just as much from our discussions as I have from any other courses.
To my professors, advisors, and TAs in Computer Science and Applied Math, I would like to thank you for providing me with the foundation for my research, not to mention for all the additional hours spent on answering my many questions and advising on courses, careers, and graduate school.
Thanks too to all the friends and classmates whom I studied, taught, or struggled alongside. You all made UVA not just a place to take courses but a community. And I am really proud to be a member of that community.
And finally, I would like to thank my family for their limitless support and faith in me. The person I am today, and the projects I have been able to create, would not exist without your guidance and support.
